Terms and Conditions of Sale
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods through our website www.youchoose.ie operated by You Choose Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Who these terms apply to.
These terms apply to consumers (individuals buying for non-business purposes) and to a limited extent to business customers. Different consumer protection rights apply to consumers.3. Your order and contract formation
- All orders are offers to purchase. We may accept or reject them at our discretion.
- The contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation email.
- We reserve the right to refuse orders (e.g. due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud).
- Product images and descriptions are for illustration only. Customised products (via Zakeke) may vary slightly from previews due to manufacturing/production differences.
4. Pricing & payment
- All prices are in Euro (€) and include Irish VAT at the prevailing rate (unless otherwise stated).
- Prices exclude delivery/shipping costs, which are shown separately before checkout.
- We accept payments via WooPayments (powered by Stripe). You must provide valid payment details.
- Title to the goods remains with us until full payment is received.
- If we discover a pricing error, we may cancel the order or contact you to confirm the correct price.
5. Customised products (Zakeke)
- Certain products allow personalisation via our Zakeke customisation tool (text, images, designs uploaded by you).
- You are solely responsible for ensuring any uploaded content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.).
- We have no obligation to review or moderate your custom designs. We may refuse or cancel orders containing unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
- Due to the custom nature of these goods, they are generally excluded from the 14-day cancellation right (see section 9).
- Production of custom items begins immediately after order confirmation – changes/cancellations are usually not possible after this point.
6. Delivery & shipping
- Delivery times are estimates only. We aim to dispatch within [X] working days (excluding custom products which may take longer).
- Risk passes to you upon delivery (or attempted delivery).
- If goods are lost/damaged in transit, contact us immediately.
- We deliver to [list countries/zones, e.g. Ireland, EU, selected international destinations]. Delivery restrictions may apply.
- You must provide accurate delivery information. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect details.
7. Ownership & risk
Ownership of goods passes to you when we receive full payment. Risk (e.g. damage/loss) passes when the goods are delivered to the delivery address.8. Consumer right of withdrawal – 14-day cooling-off period
Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (as amended):
- You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
- The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you (or a third party you nominate) receive the goods (or last item in a multiple delivery).
- Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Customised/personalised goods (made to your specifications via Zakeke)
- Sealed goods unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed
- Other exemptions under law

- You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us, at your cost (unless we agree otherwise). We may deduct an amount if goods are reduced in value due to unnecessary handling.
- We will refund all payments (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving returned goods or proof of return, using the same payment method.
- Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and related legislation, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described, and match any sample.
- If goods are faulty, you are entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund (depending on timing and nature of fault).
- Contact us within a reasonable time (ideally within 14–30 days) and provide photos/details.
- For non-custom goods: you usually have up to 2 years to assert these rights (legal guarantee).
- Custom goods: remedies are available if the product does not match the agreed specifications or is faulty due to our production error.
10. Limitation of liability
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death/personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
- Subject to the above, our total liability is limited to the price paid for the goods in question.
- We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g. loss of profits, business interruption).
11. Intellectual property
The website, content, and design remain our property (or our licensors’). You may not reproduce or use them without permission except as necessary to view/use the site.12. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. strikes, natural disasters, supplier failure).13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts (unless you are a consumer in another EU country, in which case you may also bring proceedings in your home country).14. Changes to these terms
